Crispy Garlic Soy Chicken Wings Recipe

Crispy Garlic Soy Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp vinegar (or lemon juice)
1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
1 tbsp garlic (minced)
1 tsp ginger (grated, optional)
1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for spicy kick)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp cornstarch (for crispiness)
2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions:
Prepare the wings: Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Place them in a large bowl.

Make the marinade: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.

Marinate: Pour the marinade over the chicken wings. Mix well until coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight is best for deeper flavor).

Coat with cornstarch: Before cooking, sprinkle cornstarch over the wings and toss until lightly coated.

Cooking options:

Pan-fry: Heat oil in a pan. Fry wings until golden brown and crispy on each side (about 8–10 minutes).

Oven-bake: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with foil, place wings, and bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway.

Air-fry: Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F). Cook wings for 20–25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.

Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds. Best served hot with rice or as a snack.
